Herping Mallorca

Hello,

around easter-hollidays I´m going to spend some days at majorca.
Anybody been there for herping yet ?

I´ve never been there before. For that reason I´d be grateful for any advice for successful herping.

It won´t be an exclusiv herping trip, more an family vacation with attached herping.
I´m pretty sure some of you know what that means ...

We´ve just got the flight and the car yet.- All destination are possible at the moment.
I prefer the north-eastern part for at least one destination and maybe the small island of Sa Dragonera for the lizards.

Hi!

Since I'm planning a trip to Majorca myself, I've tried and gathered some infos in the depth of the www.
I'll send you a summary of what i found so far, but at the moment I'm pretty busy, so it could take some time. I guess I'll be able to write something up on the weekend.

march-april should be a quite better season for herping than my last portugal trip in august.

There is a tiny Island just about 1km of Magaluf beach called Black Lizard Island (Isla de sa Porrassa) you cant fail to see the lizards on there.
