Hi. I'm now in Fuengirola. Can anyone determine if these tadpoles are B. spinosus and D. jeanneae? They were found in puddles that remained from a stream. Also some tadpoles were found in shallow puddles next to the noisy road and construction works, but no adult amphibians were seen- what species could it be?

Unfortunately today I had left hotel too late (9am), so I only heared noises made by fleeing lizards and snakes when I was wandering at hills. ;( What o'clock is the best to herp in my case? Advices are wellcome.

PS. Bert please reply to my email.

I don't have a thermometer. Few days ago I saw probably Coronella girondica, unfortunately no photo. Is Hemorrhois hippocrepis in a pic below?

Most definitely H. hippocrepis. My first wild snake, almost 7 years ago.. Best of luck for the rest of your trip.
