Michael, for me it was for sure the most beautiful Malpolon ever. We found a second larger one but that one managed to escape sadly...

Jürgen, Citrus-mander was also my favourite Salamander of the trip!

A great report, as ever beautifully photographed.. love the salamander habitat..very tolkienesque.. reminds me of Magic wood in Averstal Switzerland.

You did well on finding the Batuecas rock lizard. I was up in Pena de Francia myself in June and I was abut to leave the top when I saw one. I was so affraid that it would disappear and only took a few photos from a distance.
I like the griffon vulture picture.
