During my holidays I did two trips. One with my girlfriend to Portugal (Tavira) and one with my friends to Spain (Sierra de Andújar). This report is about my six days trip to Tavira. I really wanted to see the Common Chameleon (Chamaeleo chamaeleon), so that was my only real herping goal. My girlfriend is not into herping, but she really likes cute animals. Tree frogs, geckos and chameleons are on the 'cute list'. We did a lot of chameleon searching and it turned out that she is the better searcher. I found them at night time, and she found them active during daytime. She was very determined to find them for me (she saw it made me very happy).
It is not a long list, but I achieved my single goal. I already know what Paul will comment about the time that I was not herping.
