We found more and more Corn snakes in France (but still nothing to worry about contrary to Snapping turtles...) and I remember of a Taiwanese rat snake in Brittany found 4 years ago.

I dont know one.
But the
EEA Technical report No 16/2012 - The impacts of invasive alien species in Europe

list 2 herps:
Lithobates catesbeianus and Trachemys scripta.

I've kept for years the Taiwan ratsnakes in the terrarium, and I know very well this subspecies.
The two ratsnakes photographed in the article don't seem to be the Taiwan beauty snake, but the "taeniura" subspecies: I mean not O.taeniurus friesi, but O. taeniurus taeniurus from mainland China. http://www.reptilia.dk/Krybdyr_vi_har_h ... eniura.htm
