Really incredible to read that a UK citizen go for herping to Albacete! In Spain most people say "Albacete, caga y vete" (something like if you visit Albacete, defecate and go to other part), because people say that there is nothing to see there. So it´s nice to see that you were there herping. I have never stay herping there, but some friends told me that the most interesting herp place in Albacete is the source of the river Mundo, northeast of Cazorla NP. Btw nice photos, I like specially the Pelodytes!

Haha! The central Albacete province really can be a shitty herping area but the Riopar & Alcaraz surroundings are nice.

The wall lizards were seen along the roads leading to Chinchilla, south east of Albacete.
