Can you recall at roughly what height from the ground was the one you found on the tree? It might be a new record ;)


I wasn't joking about this by the way. From what I read climbing behavior for Chioglossa was recorded up to 50cm from the ground (mainly on ferns), and from the photo it looks like yours is higher than this and up a tree.
