Central Spain lizard ID

Postby Wolfgang Wüster » Fri Apr 22, 2011 8:58 am

Hi folks,

I recently enjoyed a few days herping in C. Spain (NW of Madrid Province) with some friends. Among other things, we saw a number of small lacertids that we assumed to be Podarcis hispanicus - however, I would appreciate a second opinion on these:

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Wolfgang, all of these lizards are indeed P. hispanicus - type 1B that is!
