Spain needs rain..
Posted: Thu Oct 20, 2011 8:14 pmLast weekend (13-17 October) I visited the area around Madrid again, I was there also in the spring, but because it was a bit dry then I did not see some amphibian species.
I went with my girlfriend and there we met with Rubén Martínez, there are more people who helped me, Thanks to Jeroen, Honorio and Gabriel!!
Maybe early autumn would be better, unfortunatly this was not the case, it was the most dry october in many years so most of the amphibians were hiding, reptile activity was also very low.
Here are a couple of the photos I made,
