Trip report Murcia oktober 2011

Postby Bobby Bok » Mon Oct 24, 2011 1:20 pm

Just got back from a trip to the Murcia province of Southern Spain with a little excursion into the Jaen province (Sierra de Segura) together with Carl Corbidge, Sander Schagen and Matt Wilson. Maingoals this trip were doing an autumn trip that isn't too expensive and seeing some new species of course. My highly desired new species were the Betic midwife toad (Alytes dickhilleni) and the Spanish algyroides (Algyroides marchi).

Report is in Dutch as always!

Can we hear some stories about how you caught Timon? I always only caught them when they decided to hide in a place that I could deconstruct.

Those nevadensis are soooo different and nice, although I also really like Matt's picture of the nominal ssp.
