The "Österreichische Gesellschaft für Herpetologie (ÖGH) - Austrian herp. society
holds its annual meeting 2014 in the Vienna Natural History Museum from January 24th to 26th.

Program & Abstracts

Looks like a very good composition of lectures!

As you likely already guessed, i think most (?) of the austrians registered here will be there. And hopefully also colleagues from surrounding countries, as far as, besides a really interesting program of course, it would provide a nice opportunity to have some real-life chitchat ;-) Of course I'm aware that the main presentation language german could be a minor flaw, but I heard there will be also presentations held in english ;-)

Of course everyone is invited! The advantage for ÖGH-Members is, that the entrance fee is 10€ instead of 15€ (which is both quite a small amount i think).
So feel free to come! ;-)

I am braving the winter conditions and leaving dear old Blighty to attend..
Looking forward to hearing the presentations( in English ) and hopefully catching up with a few people and indulging in beer and scoffs...

I have never been to Austria before.. Do they have electricity and indoor toilets ?
