Hey Mario, you're talking about a "300 mm telemacro " lense! What exactly is that lense and how much it costs to purchase it? I'm not too much into photography technologies and I need an advice on good lenses for macro photos! I'm using a "Olympus E-410" camera..We can take that to the "Photo Laboratory" subforum, if you wish!?

Hi Ilian,

for my Nikon D40, I use the SIGMA 70 - 300 mm Telemacro-Zoom 1:4 - 5.6.
Its very good for making in situ shots from some distance.
The Lacerta agilis in my Topic (Central Europe: Seewinkel, Burgenland) have been photographed from a distance of about 2.5 meters.
Price is about 190.-- Euro.
But I would recomand, to buy the VR (vibration reduction) version, which is about 50.-- Euros more.
