The place for new fieldguides and discussions on books on field herpetology, description and discussion on new (sub)species, etc.

Phys. Rev. Lett.

I've sent the following three papers to Mario's literature database,

PDF-3893 Tears of Venom: Hydrodynamics of Reptilian Envenomation (2011)
PDF-3892 Auditory Localization of Ground-Borne Vibrations in Snakes (2008)
PDF-3894 Snake’s Perspective on Heat: Reconstruction of Input Using an Imperfect Detection System (2006)

as I thought them of too much interest to herpetologists to be overlooked for the sole reason that
all three were published in Physical Review Letters, the most prestigious journal of physics.
Actually, the latter fact should be, as a rule, regarded as the highest recommendation, as having
published in Phys. Rev. Lett. is a serious step towards immortality, at least for physicists.
I hope this might enrich the newly established "Theoretical Section" with some new interesting and
relevant topics to discuss, comment upon, whatever you find to your taste.
And if you happen to find the (unavoidable!) mathematics in them too demanding, never mind,
just read the rest and enjoy.
