Reptiles of the western Palaearctic 2

Two weeks ago I received Robertos second book. I had little time to study it.
Actually a very good book and an excellent overview, but some taxonomic classifications surprised me a bit (e.g. Platyceps, Montivipera).

Anyone who had a look at the book? Comments?

I have it . . . Too expensive and not as good as i expected
-they consider Vipera barani a subespecies of berus (supported by what??) and M.albizona as subespecies of bulgardaghica (okay, this was too much for me . . .i support the theory that sais that albizona and wagneri are synonim)
-the pic 312,named as V.a.hugyi . . .looks like hugyi x francis for me

nice book,nice pics,nice maps . . .but poor text
JUST MY OPINION
