As the announcement of the publication is online for all to see on multiple websites, I think it's OK to let you know what some of our forum members have been working on for a while. Deadlines are approaching, titles and cover layout may change, but for sure some day there will be a number of very proud creative fathers on here :mrgreen:

Looks great. Can't wait to get a copy of this!

It seems that you placed emphasis on the reptiles (bigger font size in the title, 5 illustrations on the cover compared to only 1 amphibian). What's the reason for this?

Like I said, this is a preliminary cover design - the final one will look different and will probably have a different title.

What's so wrong about the cover - I think one frog is more than enough :twisted:

Maybe, just maybe, a salamander with black and yellow colours might make it too ;)
Marbled and Alpine newt are also easily worthy of taking part in a global Miss/Mister Newt competition, imho.
