Rastegar-Poyani et al. lumped all Iranian (sub)species of Montivipera (raddei-"Rassenkreis") together within Montivipera raddei.

Really interesting - I already wondered about the lumping of M. bulgardaghica and M. albizona in the second book of Roberto Sindaco, which can be a similar regional coloration variation.
Hope to see raddei in May...
@Mario: You always supposed, that albicornuta and raddei is the same!!
