Here it is !

After 6 years of great work from all the 8 departments of the Rhône-Alpes region, France, the Atlas is available.
The book has been elaborated with not less than 160 000 data (in a comparison, the national Atlas had 180 000) concerning 43 species from the very first one in databases to june, 2014.
450 pages of pure amphibians and reptiles knowledge !

Only available in french...

Price: 45€ + export cost (depending on country, ask LPO Rhône-Alpes for more informations)

Yes, and very massive too. ;-)

I just flew over the nearly 1.000.000. pages but I think I will have more time next week to have a closer look at it. But from what I have seen so far it seems to be very well made (I can only read very little French) and has some very nice pictures in it.

Are there any other books like that from other regions in France?

Cheers!
