As regards the Mantis, I remember that 2 years ago, I had the occasion to observe a M.religiosa feeding on a young P.muralis and this was quite impressive! (unfortunately, no picture)

I see there are some ants on the Tarentola! Did the mantis actually cought this animals or does it feed on carrion as well?
