R. temporaria

Pattern perhaps looks slightly unusual but hey, they can have pretty much any type of pattern and colour and everything else about it just screams typical temporaria

In my garden quite similar looking R. temporaria were found. Even yesterday in pond there was a female from first photo (taken two years ago, in June)

I'd go with R. temporaria too; A similar one to Michal's was seen in my garden often throughout 2006;

It is common in males when mating. But at this picture You posted among tempolar area there is rather whitish than blue color- it could be female too as in this species apperance variability is high.

I found that pic in the fotocommuity.de, the picture was made by Anke Barke in the area around Lueneburg, North Germany, before she became a member of the forum.
That`s the reason why I`m posted that.

Here one more

Are you still thinking that it is a temporaria?

For me it looks that R. temporaria male grabbed R. arvalis male. Somewhat odd, but even amplexus between Pelobates fuscus and Triturus cristatus is being found.
