Hi,

Could this specimen be Rana arvalis?
Metatarsal tubercle look not really small, but i'm not really familiar with it...

June 2012, north France (near belgium border, not far from Lille) in a bog

Not sure how knowledgeable you are about the herpetofauna of the region, but as far as I know arvalis is restricted to a single site. Might be that your frog comes from that one place, of course.

Yes, this frog is from this site, that is why i was wondering.
