I found this tadpole today in Kefalonia, P ribidundus or H arborea ?

I am not an expert but if I had to choose between this to speciem, I would say ridibundus. It would be quite big for a Hyla larvae or not?!

I don't think the tail fin looks like a Hyla at all. The fin is normally quite broad/tall

I thought it was ribidundas but no sign of any adults about and so thought I had better check here before claiming another holiday tick.

Yes, ridibundus. In Hyla the upper fin start far in front of body, nearly at the eyes.
