Melisellensis or siculus?

Postby Kristian Munkholm » Sat Dec 27, 2014 11:06 pm

Once again...

This time the question popped up on a Danish forum.

The animal is from Split.

The two replies given both lean towards meli but that is not obvious to me. Anyone around here comfortable giving a verdict (and perhaps even explaining it)?

To me, definitely siculus, suggested a.o. by the relative width of the mid-dorsal blotch row, but Mario is the king.

Looks like a typical siculus to me.
