Hierophis gemonensis?

Browsing through some pictures, I found this picture of a death snake ( killed by cats I think). Location: Greece, west Mesinia (mani) region. Didn't pay much attention at that moment and I ' m not sure which species this is. Size: about 40 cm. Can someone help to identify?

It's so contrasted in its markings because it's a baby female. ;)
