Lizard from Kyrgyzstan

Postby Igor Maiorano » Fri Jun 21, 2019 9:25 am

Hi, I took this picture in Kyrgyzstan at the Salt lake, along the SW shore of the Issik Kul Lake.
I think it is an Eremias but I'm not able to tell the species.
Please, can you help me?
Thank you very much
Igor

no, many Eremias have red tails - at least as they are subadult, and females.
the ocelles surrounded by big black areas are typical for all velox.
