Darevskia ID?

South of Batumi, Georgia, last week.

Juvenile D. derjugini were found nearby. By size this is hardly an adult D. rudis so I'm guessing either subadult rudis or adult derjugini. D. clarkorum and D. parvula should also be within range, though habitat seems wrong for at least clarkorum.

Thanks, Thomas.

Just wondering - what do you base that on? I'm struggling with those Darevskia.

I never got around to writing a report or editing an album but here's one that might interest you.

Damn near impossible to photograph as it wouldn't stop constantly running in the pouring rain so I soon gave up on getting decent shots, opting to save my camera from drowning instead, but I guess you like these critters, so... ;-)

I would love to read a report since I will be in the area of Batumi next month. What species of herptiles did you find?
