Yes, they are hybrids!
Brother and sister.
Bred by "accident", father was a Vipera ammodytes "ruffoi" from a locality close to Bolzano, mother a Vipera aspis francesceredi von Egna-Ora, both south Tyrol (Alto Adige). Such hybrids have been found very rare in nature too, because on many places in the distribution area of the South Tyrol longnose viper, both species live together in the same habitat.

Recently I have found a hybrid in Ticino (Switzerland).
In the 1972 of the people year freed of the
Vipera ammodytes in the zone where the
Vipera aspis atra live.
Later more than 30 years I have finally found the traces that the ammodytes are still present.
