Back to home, I looked at my pictures and discovered a sad detail that I could not see with naked eyes (I used a maximal zoom for this picture):
The turtle was hung by a fishing line
. As far as I can remember, the turtle was not moving at all. I guess that the animal in the picture is already dead.
Did you already observe such a sitution with other herptiles
