Seems to be a bit of a Morocco theme this year.

Though I didn't mention it before, I've been considering it as well...

Well... an interesting thread.. I thought spending time with Bobby Gert Jan and Sjeord meant that I knew many euro profanities, but krentjes is new..love it!

Also love the little bit of trimeresurus porn... yummy ..must be the only HD footage of brongersmai..and the unnamed species..stunning!

As for trips for 2015.. Time and more importantly cash are not in huge supply at the moment.. however I may make the following.. the aforementioned and girlfriend willing...

April.. quick and dirty trip to Montseny...and climbing trip with girlfriend to Fontainebleau.. hopefully some aspis action..

May Northern Spanish road trip.. as many possible ticks attempted in a week.. sleep is for the weak..

October.. Morocco with the usual suspects..

Funds may allow one or two quick and dirty weekend trips.. I would love to finish 2015 on over 180 species... a challenging goal...

Wow! Many Moroccan trips this year!! Abril-May and Sept-October looks great there! It seems a great fieldherping.eu congregation!!

My trips are:

- End december 2014-first days of january 2015: South Africa! (photos in the forum soon; I attach one of my favourite animals in the trip) ;)

- Probably not herping trips in spring (maybe something in Spain such as Pyrinees or Picos de Europa) or a short 3-4 days to Morocco in april or may

- August: Canary Islands (a wedding of a friend, few or nothing of herping) and later EEUU or South America (hopefully). All august with my girlfriend probably (so few herping)

June: Central and southern France for ursinii, aspis, H. viridiflavus, Z. longissimus and Testudo and some lizards

One or two short trips in spring to NE France for aspis, lizards and viridiflavus

Maybe one or two short trips in Germany for Coronella, lizards and N. tesselata (Black Forest and Nahe valley)
Cheers

Hi,

my our plans:

late April: Albania (~ 10 days V. u. graeca monitoring)

May: Kosovo, Albania (two weeks distributional data collection with botanist friends)

July: Kosovo, Albania (two weeks dist. data and orchids again)

August: Albania (~ two weeks: 3-4 days V. u. graeca monitoring at the grazing exclusion site, in the rest days checking potential meadow viper habitats)

The meadow viper trips are open if anybody interested to join.

Finally, I just like to present you our "new" research facility:

It will be crowded in Morocco with all the fieldherpers. :) Morocco is also great. I would like to see more of it. Especially more south of Agadir. :)
