Now when tech issues are left behind, and after you finish the new database, working Lightbox feature is good baseline for huge future image gallery?

Yes, it would be nice if it grows to a nice gallery besides a great literature database!

Since this morning the database contains 613 species (including some realy exotic ones, like Agamodon arabicus, Hakaria simonyi, etc.), 1327 pictures and 4089 related PDF files.

So I would like to remember you - or ask you - for many more pictures, if you would like to share them here for the DB -- to grow to a huge image gallery ;)
For contributing images, please use the info sheet from DB´s start page.
Thanks!

Hello,

sorry, the database was not available for a few days now
My provider did some changes in the php version and my old script was not working anymore, like suspected :o
But now everything seems to be fine again.

The database now contains 757 species.
But the amount of pictures is still very low.
So I will ask you to share your species pictures for the DB.
I have made now an upload form for easy sending pictures to me - 4th line from top at the database index page (explanations on the datafields you will find inside the form).

Just an idea:

I see there's a section on the homepage that shows new pictures added but i think it would be also nice to show the latest articles added, so you don't have to go through all the literature every time to find what's new.

You can use the PDF database for that, as they are sorted by name and the name reflects their chronology of upload.

Ok, thanks. I didn't realise they both consist of exactly the same articles.

the amphibians and reptile database was growing quite a lot.

Now:
877 species
3648 pictures representing 750 species and
7373 files online.

But anyway, I'm still looking for pictures (please use the upload form from database index page). Only for fieldherping.eu members via the database link on forums index page ;)
