Is there a subforum where I can post some other American stuff? I'd rather not bombard the forum with American stuff! Don't worry, the amount of pics is finite and sooner than later I'll be posting Euro herps as well.

Although the name of the subforum is not really fitting for you, we drop those usually here =>

Very cool photos... Maybe next summer I will visit the States. With only 1 Crotalus I would be happy!

Thanks for the Rattler pics Matthijs!!

Is the lepidus from the River road area?

Years ago (about 100) I found a molt of a huge horridus south of Houston.

Lepidus is from the Chisos Mountains.

You did, huh? If it's south of Houston I'd have to get a) Damon or b) Columbia River bottoms. Whereabouts did you see it?

chisos mountains?! that`s what I thought! Very nice area!!

Checked the map again, it`s not exactly south of Houston, it`s southwest, the City is Edna, west of Edna (if you take the mainroad) you will cross the Edna river, also a good place for A. c. laticinctus

If I visit United States next summer, it will be with my girlfriend. So the time for herping will be very very limited. So you may came with your wife. Then we may leave girls in the cities and we would go to the field for the Crotalus everyday!!! :P
