Introduction

Postby Magnus Öhrn » Thu Mar 14, 2013 4:36 pm

Hello!
My name is Magnus Öhrn and I´m a swedish teacher of Biology with an ever increasing interest in amphibians and reptiles. Last year (2012) was a sort of breakthrough in my list of swedish amphibians with sightings of Bufo viridis, Pelobates fuscus and Hyla arborea in Skåne (southern Sweden). That means that I only have Pelophylax lessonae left to see in my home country. Regarding reptiles, I lack sightings of Coronella austriaca. This shortcoming shall be no more after this spring.Last year I also went to Malta and I have made a simple report of it here in the forum. Even a teacher have to start somewhere...

My interest in reptiles/amphibians come handy when i teach Biology and many examples are from herpetology. I also keep some daygeckos and Elaphe dione(captive breed of course) in my vivaria.
Good herping!
Magnus
