Hello from Corsica

Postby Robin Duborget » Sat Nov 15, 2014 12:56 pm

Hello,

I'm Robin, from Corsica. I'm a biology ("SVT") teacher in secondary school.
I am actually working in Cannes, near Nice, in the "Alpes-Maritimes" of France.

I'm particularly interested in amphibians and insects (Orthoptera) and with my wife we always try to make somes trips for photographying species we haven't already seen.

I found your forum in searching for information about Salamandrina perspicillata.

I'm already member of the forum of Pierre-Yves Vaucher who you already know I think :D. I'm also an animator of the french entomology forum : http://www.insecte.org.

This is a picture of Salamandra corsica, wich is without a doubt my favorite species of Amphibians :

Greetings,
Robin

ps : sorry, my english is bad !

Salut Robin et bienvenu sur le forum,

As you are from Corsica and active as an entomologist member, I was wondering if you had any info/personal observation about your local "Malmignatte"?

See you,

Guillaume

Thanks guys !

Our Malmignatte, Latrodectus tredecimguttatus, is verry common in "maquis" area especially near "Calvi" and "Île-rousse". I have some photo of this spider, but that's all, Arachnids are not my speciality in Entomology (like I said it's Orthoptera, and also Myriapods)
