Short introduction

Hi there,
I've been a member of this message board for quite some time now, and figured it would make sense if I shortly introduce myself.
I'm Jelmer Groen from Leeuwarden, The Netherlands.
I carry out research on eight different populations of the common European viper (Vipera berus) in the Dutch province of Friesland. I focus mainly on ecology. Besides that I recently started collecting DNA for a study on genetic diversity (within populations) and genetic relationships (between populations).
Offcourse I'm also interested in other species of reptiles and love to go herping when I'm abroad. I'll share some pics of this year's trips later.
All the best,
Jelmer
