Hello fieldherpers,
my name is Pedro Janssen, 45 years old, and i work as a parttime Cytologist and Data/image manager at a pathology laboratory.
Sinds my youth i have a hobby in poisonous snakes. First in terrarium, after my study in the field (with my first pay check to Greece-Milos).
In the Netherlands where i live, i have done Vipera berus research in the Meinwegarea and later on in the whole of the Netherlands.
I founded the Workinggroup Adderresearch Netherlands (part of RAVON), and the last 10 years we did population-, telemetric-, genetic-, vegetation- and morphology research. Also we did research about adderbites and its venom.
I like to photograph snakes in the wild and specialized in it. Here are some examples.
