I live in England and am lucky to be able to work with our UK herpetofauna professionally as I work as an ecologist specialising in Reptiles and Amphibians

I am a passionate photographer and recently started doing HD video and hope to move into that more in the future.

I like to travel and meet fellow herpers.

This looks like another great forum where we can all share in our experiences

Hi Everyone

Graeme

Welcome Graeme!

Do you have a picture of you to share?
Maybe some of us will meet you in the field - someday, somewhere - and don´t recognize you!

Since last year I also have a Sony full HD video camera now.
It´s a pity, it isn´t possible to share their quality via web, so the filesizes - even for 1 or 2 minutes only - are gigantic!

Here I will show a picture of Vipera ursinii rakosiensis, female.
It has been made with my Sony full Hd, but not with the picture function.
It´s one frame out of the video!
But (do you see it?) quality reduced from 1.2 to 0.5 MB!

Maybe, everybody can imagine, how videos look like on a large full HD television?
If you have one - I have none!
