I finally bought a decent tripod for my spotting scope and took it for a spin along the Black Sea for migration watching. Here are some pics from this weekend.

Very cool! When I was out for Rana arvalis I tripped over Scolopax rusticola. It was quite shocking when it started up just in front of me. Sandpipers are nice birds!
