It`s been quite a busy spring for me and now that i`ve got some free time i`m going to share my experiences with you. As usual Romania was my hunting ground, with a few trips in the Republic of Moldavaia and Bulgaria. Most of the times i went out in the field with the family but i`ve had a few hard core trips as well.

In april my book about the birds of the Danube Delta came out and i also scored the first Citrine Wagtail for Moldavia! :ugeek:

And after all that hard work i got rewarded with a few cool lifers:

Looks like you had some nice trips again :) Good finds as well, both scaled and feathered. Shame that the Blotched snake was dead...Where did you find it?

Well, after failing in Rusenski Lom and Srebarna, i decided to hit the foothills of north Dobroudja. Dead or not, it`s still a tick on the yearlist, so it`s all good. Tried to pose it more life-like but the smell was just too damn funky so i gave up.
