Hi,

Just returned from the local shopping center, and i got something i wanna show you. It was found in the parking lot, so i`m guessing we`re dealing with the victim of a hit and run. ;)
But to be absolutely sure of the little creature`s identity i bagged it and took it home :D , where the next photographs were taken.

Hi,
Just found a dead juvenile Blackbird yesterday; it looks very different. ( Bigger, spotted, etc)

At first I was thinking Acrocephalus, but I`m now leaning towards Luscinia.

Am i getting closer :?:

EDIT:

Minutes ago i`ve been told by an ornithologist that the bird was indeed a Nightingale. Not the Common Nightingale as i suspected though, but the rarer Thrush Nightingale! And this way i added another lifer on my list. :!:
Goes to show you that birding is not limited to field trips. Always be aware of what`s around; by sound, by sight. Be alert even on the way to work or school; look in all the improbable places, and do not ignore those DORs.

Bird on!
