Well done & good exampl of southern richness and northern poorness: damon & daphnis occur in Bavaria & BW but lack in NRW & Rhineland Palladium...

Let me jump in to complement on these beautiful pictures. Eight years of butterfly hunts in the Alps only gave me a single maturna - fantastic creature.

I made a mistake - I saw intermedia, instead of maturna. Also cynthia, just once, which beats all imho.

I am very jealous about your butterflypictures. How much do you work on the pictures, after you shot them. I also want to try to get pictures like this. :)
