Lepidoptera

Hi,

you all know those days: too hot for snakes, all lizards too shy, only Anguis when turning stones... frustration. But anyhow, you can find lots of animals with scales:

Herping areas usually are also good areas for butterflies. And photographing butterflies is an easy way to check out your local biodiversity...
I'm wondering if anyone in this forum is also interested in lepidoptera!
Regards
Peter

Hi Peter, very nice shots! Me and my girlfriend (although newbies)are also interested in butterflies and moths and we do photograph them whenever we have the chance! We just bought some basic guides and I'm far from an expert but I enjoy them, as well as every other living thing!
