Some pictures from France's West coast displaying -for the main part- grasshoppers. Of course, those are very common insects but still, the way they manage to disappear in their environment is sometimes amazing!

I would say the feather is of a Garrulus glandarius.

Nice shots! I like the third one most, great camouflage! I think I will never find that one in the wild!
