Wolf spider

Some pictures of an Hogna radiata that I found this afternoon after flipping a rock. This fast spider, also known as the "false tarantula", can be mistaken with Lycosa narbonensis since they have a lot of features in common. However, I found this specimen around the centre of France which is too far from the mediterranean coast to observe Lycosa narbonensis . A pretty good web page (http://www.insecte.org/spip.php?article50) explains in more details the differences between those spiders (it is in french but the pictures are explicit).
