Got back from a weeks holiday with my girlfriend in Lesbos yesterday. We stayed by the pool or beach every day, but went on two walks in the evening so I could show her what terrapins and Mediterranean reptiles looked like. Also, we saw some cool insects and spiders. I have no idea what these dragonflies and damselflies are, so any id's would be appreciated.

And finally a large sort of grasshopper I saw near our terrace one night. Again, no idea which species it is.

Missed this - damsel is (I think) Lestes virens, dragons are Sympetrum fonscolombei and Orthetrum chrysostigma and O. brunneum, I think, but I should check my books.

The moth is Euplagia quadripunctaria.

I agree with Jeroen on the dragonflies, however I would suggest the small spur like marking might indicate lestes parvidens,given the range..just a thought.

The grasshopper is a bush-cricket: Pholidoptera fallax. I believe the spider is Hogna radiata.

For the bush insect i'd rather say Eupholidoptera, but i don't witch species can be found there
