Mantis religiosa

Yesterday I visited my local mantis religiosa population. This time I was not lazy and made some pics
The population was discovered in 1998 on an area of an old railway station inside the city.

Oh cool ... I have been there last year. But I have seen no one
Perhaps I should go there next week also

Maybe you visited that place too early in the year? Now they are quite big, so its "easy" to find them.
Everytime it took a while until my eyes knew how to see them
An be aware of the rails - one of these rotten rails is still in use!
