Jürgen!

Your Ptyodactylus from N and S Oman might be the new described :P Ptyodactylus orlovi from north Oman (nearly sure - by color and pattern) and :P Ptyodactylus dhofarensis from south Oman?

See:
Roman Nazarov, Daniel Melnikov & Ekaterina Melnikova (2013): THREE NEW SPECIES OF Ptyodactylus (REPTILIA; SQUAMATA; PHYLLODACTYLIDAE) FROM THE MIDDLE EAST.- Russ. J. Herp. 20(2): 147 - 162 (PDF-5756)

Nice paper, we were waiting for it. Thanks Mario

The 3th new species of the hasselquistii group, "ananjevae", has a type locality "close" to Eilat, but both animals looks quite different in dorsal pattern

Hi Gabri,

your Flickr Photos seem to be hasselquistii ;)
How ananjevae should look like: Vipersgarden Amphibians and Reptile database => Reptilia => Geckonidae => Ptyodactylus ananjevae

PS: Acantho text will be sent this week!
