Hey guys, here's some pictures from my trip to Guam and Japan this year.
I'm sorry about the quality of some of the pictures, I didn't have my camera with me all the time, so some of the pictures are taken with an IPhone.
Guam (the land of the invasive species)
Anolis carolinensis:
This guy changed color from green to brown after being carried a few meters away from a road.
->
More pics:
Emoia caeruleocauda:
Carlia fusca :
Caught for photographing, trying to hide beneath a penny:
Carlia fusca again:
Eleutherodactylus planirostris:
A very common species.
Bufo marinus, these are some giants, I even found one at the size of a rabbit!
Lepidodactylus lugubris, one of a few gecko species I found:
some butterflies:
Brown tree snake, this one in situ, trying to escape when it saw me:
Here's a larger one I caught in a tree:
And now for the pictures from Japan; I'm sorry about the quality, I was only out for a short walk in the area around my hotel, and i didn't bring my camera. But damn, I found so much in such a short time that I know for sure that I will be coming back next year!
Mauremys japonica:
Takydromus tachydromoides:
Hyla japonica:
Pelophylax nigromaculatus
