Herper's paradise - Madagascar

For your reports/images, made outside Europe and the "Mediterranean" countries. Not to be too narrow minded and limited to our European/Mediterranean herps.

Thanks for the feedbacks! Indeed, Madagascar offers a very large variety of animals and I can only recommend to go there ;)

Here is the last part of our trip.

And with Mamy, our taxi guide who has been great during the whole trip.

Finally, just like it started in Andasibe, we finished with a last Sanzinia madagascariensis the morning we left Ranomafana.

I hope you enjoyed these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them. Of course, if one of you wants to go to Madagascar and would like to have some hints, don’t hesitate to contact me. It’s not after a 2 weeks trip that I’ll pretend that I know the place but at least if you want to have some contacts like taxi guides or guides inside the parks (for instance, there was an excellent guide in Andasibe whose name was Donna or Donnah and he was by far the one who knew the best all the animals), just get back to me and I’ll gladly help you as much as possible.

So voilà, I think that’s it for 2012 at least for me. I’m already looking very forward to 2013 and I can’t wait to find the first snakes of 2013 yet. Until then, I wish again all of you a very happy new year!

Cheers !
