Guyana

For your reports/images, made outside Europe and the "Mediterranean" countries. Not to be too narrow minded and limited to our European/Mediterranean herps.

For those who are interested (mostly German speaking people I guess):

A Guyanese-German team made a documentary film on the nature along the Essequibo river, the largest river in Guyana. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Essequibo_River

There will be a replay of all the five parts (5x45 minutes) on ARTE TV channel next weekend.

http://www.arte.tv/guide/de/043223-004/ ... equibo-4-5

There's also a french version "Expédition aux sources de l'Essequibo", but I don't know when this will be broadcasted.

I saw the third part yesterday. It's very well done, but a little bit too histrionic in my opinion.

PS: There are two more replays in February (see links above).

The videos in the links are not (yet?) available in Switzerland, too. Just wanted to show when it will be broadcasted on TV.
