Hi guys I got this picture today from a former colleague, he took this pic in the Amazone area of Ecuador. He mentioned the Napo river in the NE of the country.
Anyone knows what the species is ?

I think it may be Podocnemis unifilis, they are pretty common in Ecuador.

Yes, I think Liam is right. It is definitelly Podocnemis. The only other Podocnemis species in the area is P.expansa but I think it's most likely unifilis as well.
