As requested, some more shots (not only herps) from my visit to Uganda in 2012. We spent about 4 weeks driving through the country from park to park, watching birds (total of 345 species :D), mammals and the occasional herp! Not too many herp photos, but still a decent impression of sightings I hope.

Awesome country to visit, would recommend it to all!

Other sightings include Ptychadena, Afrixalus, Hyperolius and some other stuff I can't remember right now...

Would be my greatest wish to see or even photograph some mountain gorillas! Must be some of the greatest moments you can have. I must say that I am very jealous. How much you payed for the trip, If it's ok to ask?! :D

"Mabuya megalura" is in fact Leptosiaphos (perhaps graueri).

Tomas: you are right, I don't know where I got the Mabuya name from, let me check my books tonight; might be a wrong name/photo combination.

Niklas: the gorilla tracking is unforgettable! A permit costs 500 USD p.p., and for that you are only allowed to be close to the animals for about 1 hour. Totally worth it though. In total, expect to pay around 4000/5000 euro p.p. for 4 weeks, including tickets, meals and (very basic!) accomodation.

I think I'll have to wait a little bit for this journey
